FAQs

What’s the difference between Natural and Farmed MOP?

Natural (wild-caught) lots are specific-size (5″ and above) with richer nacre variation. Farmed lots are assorted (mostly 4–5″) and more uniform. We can segregate 4″ and 5″ on request.

How many shells per kilogram?

Both Natural and Farmed MOP generally contain about 6–11 pieces per kilogram, depending on the size mix.

What does CNF pricing mean?

CNF = Cost and Freight — Seller pays product cost and sea freight to the destination port. Buyer handles insurance, customs clearance, duties, taxes, and inland delivery after arrival.

What does FOB mean?

FOB = Free On Board — Price covers the goods up to loading on the vessel at the port of shipment. Ocean freight, insurance, and destination charges are for the buyer.
